OSCE Contest seeks images associated with environmental protection

European and Eurasian photojournalists and photographers interested in recording environmental subjects can submit their best work for a contest seeking to gather images of issues related to water and land management.

The application deadline is: 31st March 2007

Organized by the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe (OSCE), the competition is open to any individual residing in an OSCE member country. For a full list of participating states visit http://www.osce.org/

Submitted images should be relevant to the competition’s theme, “Land and Water, Protecting our Fragile Environment,” and be in a digital format. Files should be a minimum of 2000 pixels on their longest-side. 

Interested entrants should download and complete the application form available on the OSCE Web site. All images and the completed from should be emailed to photo2007-at@osce.org. 

The first-prize winner will receive a Canon EOS 30D kit. Several runners-up will receive cash prizes of US$500.
